We go to Mr. Gene's Beans at least 4-5 times/month both with and without our kids. Even when we lived 25 miles away we would make it a point to stop by and have a Fairhope Float when we could. The deck outside is great, it's close to all the wonderful Fairhope shopping, and there's cool a/c inside for those really hot Gulf Coast days.
My kids love the yogurt and ice cream and we love the coffee!
I hate that a previous poster did not have a good experience when the owner was not there. We have been there both when he is present and when he is not and have ALWAYS had great, friendly service.
