We have been using South Shores Pet Clinic for over 21 years. We now live in Torrance and dont mind making the drive when needed. I worked for Emergency Pet Clinic back in the 1980's and even back then, their clinic had an incredible reputation with the veterinarians with whom I worked. The doctors REALLY care about my (numberous) animals over the years and take as much time as I need in the exam rooms. I had a 7 year old Rottweiler that had an unusual bleeding problem in 1993 and neither doctors could figure out what was wrong with him. They sent my dogs blood to a Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Colorado, free of charge, and they were able to diagnose Von Willobrens(unknown spelling) disease. Thanks to this diagnosis, Dr. Steed was able to extend his life a year or so. I have never had a problem with the staff and compared to other veterinary hospitals in the Torrance area, they are VERY reasonable as far as fees go. Ive shopped around.
