Terrible Experience, Terrible Restuarant - Avoid it ! 3/20/2010

We went to Fanoos last night for the Persian New Year. What a horrible and humilating experience. At the insistance of a friend, we decided to attend Fanoos's Celebration. We had gone to Fanoos before and our experience had been terrible. Their food had been poorly prepared, they had been used food from the afternoon launch, the waitresses specially a blond one had been extremely rude, the music was loud and upsetting and finally their bathrooms had been dirty. My friend insisted that they have changed that I should attend the celebration. So I took off from work and took my wife there. We got there and were told that they were full! We said fine, we ll just go some place else. My wife thought that it would be only polite if she would let our friends know that we were going some place else. Therefore, she walked toward our friends' table to say goodbye, Only to have her hand yanked by their security gaurd. Mr. Jalal does not understand this is not ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN. You cannot ASSAULT PEOPLE SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY WANT TO WALK OVER TO A TABLE! THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. We walked away, with my wife's and my nerves rattled by their savage behaviour. I wanted to file a complaint with the Sandy Spring's Police Department but my wife thought that it was not worth it. I have nothing against the security guard as she was following the order of management. I put up with their terrible service of waiting for half hour just to have to your order taken, I put up with their terrible tasting food and I put up with their rude waitresses but i cannot put up with their assault against my wife and their savage behaviour. Pros: None! Cons: Terrible Service, Rude Waitress, Awful Food more
