Sylvian is an incredible tailor and a true gentleman. I call him ""The Surgeon"". If a garment can be fixed, he can fix it. If it cannot be fixed, he'll be the first to let you know. I've been searching for a ""go to"" tailor for three years now since moving to Portland, and haven't found anyone I would recommend until now. I am very picky about what I expect from a tailor and trust my high end suits to virtually no one. After spending twenty minutes talking to Sylvian, I knew before he even made a stitch, my suits were in good hands.
Sylvian completes his work on time (rare for most tailors) and has a sartorial eye for how clothes should fit. Drop by his shop anytime and you'll see him salvaging garments that were previously slaughtered by other tailors.
Go see him, you won't be disappointed.
