I agree with a previous reviewer that the place is a total hidden gem, espcecially for Staten Island where the dining scene def needs something original and exciting. The food is to seriously to die for. We have had Thai not only all over the city, but also have been to Thailand. Staten Islanders should be happy that this kind of good food is right here on the island. This is not one of those places that's pretentious and just about chic decor but serves mediocre food. I wish people would support local business, (instead of going to chains) and stop knocking on real old school home cooking. (You don't want to know what happens in the kitchens of the chains) I find the brother and sister team to be very nice, just had a nice chat with the sister, other tables seem to regulars too. Talay Thai is awesome and we'll continue to come here.
