Took the BMW in to have an alternator replaced. They talked me into replacing the belts as well. Now the belts are squealing. On the third attempt to have them rectify the situation I gave up after they mentioned replacing a pulley. Remember that the only thing wrong with the car before was an alternator. I am scared to have them touch the car now and will be taking the car to the dealership 20 miles away on Monday. I wish I would have just gone with the dealership to start with. Now my cars belts will be whistling at me all the way to the dealership. I feel like a fool for going there.
Pros: closer than the dealership
Cons: you will have to take your car to the dealership anyways
