I've been coming to ORV for close to 20 years--way before they remodeled and got the snazzy office. Hasn't made a difference: they are still down to earth, nice people who truly care about your pets. \r

When I had to put my dog down about 10 years ago, they handled it professionally and personally. The care until that point had been awesome--even suggesting that maybe we send the dog to UC Davis to see if they could do anything for her because we had exhausted all avenues ORV could take. When it was over and we were leaving, I was surprised to see Dr. Jackson in the back, quietly crying himself: putting dogs down can't be easy for them, either. \r

I'm sorry that someone had a bad experience there, and I would have been upset about the ashes as well, but I don't think it was from a lack of caring. It was simply a mistake that could've happened anywhere and I'm sure they felt bad about it, because that's how they are. \r

I've taken my cat and dogs there and would recommend them to any
more
