We paid a deposit of $380 on 2/15/09 for a Wesley Allen Hi-Rise Daybed. The salesman told us it would be in in approximately 8 weeks & I had him write that on the docket - he also said that it may be in sooner.
On the day before the 8 weeks was up, I went to the store - only to have them tell me that it was on back order at the manufacturers & was going to take another 4 weeks.
I called Wesley Allen & they stated that they had no such thing as a back order, that they buy that particular bed in & it usually ships within 10 days of the order. They didn't want to talk to me really & referred me to their local Rep., whom I called & emailed.
He told me that he didn't have any order for that particular bed since 2/15 & he also told me that they do not ship goods until the Store pays for them in full.
I went back to the Store & insisted that the Manager, Michael write that if i didn't have my bed by 5/14/09 - they would refund my money. He did so & also offered me a discount of $100 for my trouble.
The bed never arrived, so we went there on 5/16 & they wrote up a refund for us - but as of this minute we still do not have it. (It was written up 16 days ago)
We went back last Saturday & old Michael said we would have it today.
I don't think these people have any money. We are disputing the charges with our Credit Card Company & we'll have to take them to small claims court - it seems.
They have had our $380 since 2/15/09 & we have nothing. Basically they have stolen our money - they are lliars, crooks & cheats.
