After owning my own marketing company for 24 years I decided to get into real estate investing about five years ago. I had no idea what I was doing, I just thought that this might be a nice change of pace. I went to my first CTREIA meeting and was amazed to find out there were hundreds of people just like me. Over the years I have evolved from fixing and selling single family homes, to wholesaling, to small multi-family properties to a full time investor with ownership in four apartment complexes totalling 415 units.
