My children have been at Be at Home since my youngest (now a second-grader) was 11 months old. My other two kids were there since infancy. I cannot imagine a better daycare for my kids. We had my oldest in another center before Be at Home and it is like night and day. The directors and caregivers at Be at Home are extremely conscientious, caring and qualified. There is very low turnover of caregivers and they are both educated in early childhood specialties as well as experienced. The facility was built specifically to be a day care and is fantastic (heated floors; tiny potties; outlets out of arm's reach; large trex-deck; big open yard to play in, etc.). The reason the directors might not get back to you right away is because they are very hands-on in the running of the daycare and are often in the rooms teaching and taking care of the kids. They always will return calls or take care of important issues. Most importantly, my children have been so happy at Be at Home - they have made great friends, had fun, learned a lot, and were extremely well-prepared for Kindergarten. They also have rarely gotten sick whereas my oldest child was sick every 2-3 weeks at her previous daycare. Also, the things I witnessed happen to my child and other children at the previous daycare were far worse than anything I have seen or heard of happen during my 6+ years at Be at Home. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone in the North Hills.
Pros: Facility; quality of care; low turnover
