I am a southern girl, raised in Alabama and Georgia. So when I read about this place on citysearch, I immediately called up my friend and we met there for breakfast that morning. Looking at the menu, we were both very excited about what was to come. After much deliberation, we chose the catfish filet with pancakes, salmon croquettes with potatoes, and a side of bacon. While waiting for our food, I must agree with previous posts, this place felt like home. The ambience was really chill and the music was nice. However, the food left much to be desired. The catfish was overbreaded with an awful after taste. The salmon croquettes tasted like bread filling. And the potatoes tasted like they were dipped in grease. The only thing that we actually enjoyed was the pancakes and the thick cut bacon. \r
Their motto states that there ain't no better breakfast. But I'm sorry to say, that's a lie.
