Like the title says; this is an Alan Batson restaurant for better for worse. Mr. Batson is an extremely talented chef, no doubt, and has been around Cary for quite some time now, however this restaurant seems to be almost identical to the unfortunately failed Southern Star. His style is no doubt unique, if overly complicated, but if you ever ate at the Southern Star you will be disappointed in the lack of freshness in Mr. Batson's menu. His plate presentation is nice, but a bit overcomplicated and could be toned down. The entree should be the main focus of a dish, not random sides and garnish. I always wondered why a place would hire a man to replace their menu with one that couldn't support his own restaurant.
Pros: Great to try once, Awesome drinks, Perfectly cooked food.
Cons: Not worth the price, Redundant Alan Batson menu, Garnish takes away from the entree.
