After two years of taking my miniature schnauzer to another doggie camp, I switched to Piedmont Bark. I switched because, among many other strange clues, my dog - who NEVER does this - peed on the floor out of fear when I left him at the other place. At Piedmont Bark, his behavior changed dramatically for the better! Even though he is still anxious about being left by me, after his 6 hour trial run, when we came back for boarding he actually recognized the girl that came to take him away and jumped up on her excitedly. The staff and the entire air about the place is highly professional - which leads me to believe that as is often the case in business, that professionalism will translate into how my dog is treated when I'm not around to supervise. My dog was happy to see me after 5 days at Piedmont Bark, however, he was not the anxious, Get Me the Heck Out of Here dog that he was when I retrieved him from the old doggie camp. I am very happy with my new choice for boarding my dog.
Pros: Professional Staff, My Dog Seemed Happy There
Cons: No Outdoor area that I know of...
