My experience was just as other negative reviews. The staff were rude on the phone and at reception. They didn't even raise their heads when I said good-bye. [This was at 9pm on a Sunday night. It was not crowded.] This is the very first place where I was asked to provide the tip up front. I had booked a ""deep tissue massage"". And I received what other reviewers received. Gentle pressure and no inclination to do otherwise. When I told the masseuse that I like a deeper massage, she asked, ""Deeper than what?"" Between the tip and massage, I paid nearly 100 bucks to be gently poked. Having to negotiate the teeny tiny spiral staircase after the massage was no fun either. I have heard good things about the private hot tubs, but on the weekend, there is a $30 minimum.
