My wife bought what was labeled as a "yorkie mix" puppy back in August '07 from this place for $695. Turned out another big-time pet store realized right away the puppy was not yorkie, but CAIRN TERRIER! Since then we have had vets tell us our puppy is none other than a mutt, without any yorkie. That was mistake #1, the 2nd was the puppy's agression level is through the roof. He has bittten me at this point 6+ times. Vet says there may have been something wrong with the puppy's parents. And mistake # 3 is the umbilical hernia-which the vet also informed us is a sign of bad breeding. We have spent well over $2,500 in intensive training and vet bills! We love our little guy to pieces, but we tell everyone we know not to buy from this place b/c they obviously don't know what they're selling. Go to a reputable breeder, or adopt. The pet store near our house had a female cairn, exact markings as our male, and she was only $650- the male they were selling was $600. My wife and I got ripped off and we'd hate to hear about someone else being treated this way.
Pros: Selection was varied.
Cons: Dirty, smells, no a/c downstairs, puppies stay in tiny crates more than one to each crate, overpriced compared to their competitors in the area.
