We had always loved going to Aspens until the night we went celebrating a family birthday. After our meal one person in our party discovered a large dead insect in their water glass. We were horrified, but did not make a scene. We made our server aware, but all we wanted to do was leave. Later that night we made contact with the owners of the restaurant. They apologized and offered us gift certificates, which we declined. Why would we want to come back? They offered to refund one half of our check. Six weeks later a credit had still not been made to us. We contacted them again and they said they entered our credit card number wrong for the credit. Bottom line......poor hygiene in the kitchen and poor customer service! Find another upscale restaurant in West Cobb that treats it's customers with more respect. Pros: location Cons: many! more
