Now El Vaquero has been in business for nearly 6 years and they've had their ups and downs like many ""authentic"" mexican restaurants. Now, what you have to understand is that because they don't speak English well, they also don't read English well. In foreign countries dates are written with the day first, then month, then year. So, perhaps they read the expiration dates wrong on the foods. I know for certain this was a temporary thing. They have improved on all complaints in previous review, although I do remember the era being referred to in the previous review. Check them out. They have excellent food, the service is very quick, and if your waiter/waitress can't understand you, ask for Carlos. He is typically there and speaks impecable English.
