I called a half hour before my 4:30 PM mani/pedi appointment to apologize that I would be ten/fifteen minutes late due to traffic. They haughtily explained that I might not be able to get both treatments which was fine with me. When I arrived I was there FOUR minutes after my appointment time (4:34).\r

After a bit a woman called me up to the desk and pointed to her computer screen which read 4:42. I looked at her questioningly and she said I was twelve minutes late. I was puzzled and explained that I had been here for several minutes already (having been greeted, checked in, browsed and selected a nail color, seated with an open magazine already halfway through an article when she called me up). I showed her my cell phone time which now read 4:38 (the time being automatically set by the cell phone company). She looked at me like I had two heads and pointed again to the computer screen saying I was twelve minutes late.\r

She said nothing else and made no move to do anything except point and stare at me. I have no idea what she was trying to accomplish. So after being told I was late again and stared at some more I asked her to cancel my appointment and left.\r

What a terrible way to treat a potential customer, I just don't understand it. I will certainly never go back and will never recommend anyone to this place. Try Phillip de Palma down route 9 or Wayland Nails on Main St. They at least act like they appreciate their customers. Ugh!
Cons: Act like they are the only nail place around
