Our group tried Domenico's, and found the service so bad that it makes for a good story. The crotchety waitress (owner?) hassled us to hurry up on our order before my purse touched the ground, refused to answer basic questions about the dishes, and slacked on the refills. I'm assuming she was banking on the automatic 18% tip that gets added to large parties and felt she could act any way she pleased. She barked, ""So are there any of you stragglers who have made up your mind yet? No? Well, I'll give you two minutes!"" She called me ""fish girl"" every time she referred to me since I ordered the calamari. She refused to answer my friend's simple question of ""What is in the tomato salad?"" I left the restaurant thirsty. \r
The topping was when the bill came out. Our group ALWAYS ends up throwing in more money than we need to, so we were shocked to add up the stack of bills to find that we were short. As we comed through the ""bill"" to find out the mistake, we found it was simply a ticket tape from a 10-key. The amounts listed had no bearing to what we actually ordered. When we talked to her about it, we found that she simply counted people and automatically charged a drink per person, whether it was ordered or not. She had thrown on extra salads on the bill that no one ordered. She threw in whatever amount sounded right per dish without consulting the actual price, and all of her mistakes were in her favor. We found all these mistakes before she was one-fifth of the way down the ticket. Finally, she evaded by saying, ""Oh, I'm sure you all added right. Just leave the money that you think is correct on the table.""
Pros: Nice patio setting
Cons: Appallingly bad service
