Both the execution and presentation of all of our dishes was really off - sea bass on a bed of spinach with black bean sauce and jasmine rice sounded great but when it came - the proportions were garguntuan, the sea bass was oily on the outside, slightly undercooked in spots and completely flavorless which sat on top of a pile of huge old spinah leaves that had become wilted (in an icky way) by the very salty black bean sauce - all of which sat on what must have been 4 cups of cooked rice. The seafood stew was also a gigantic bowl of scallops, callamari, shrimp, etc. in a sauce that was very mediocre. We had one appetizer that was okay - a stuffed shitake mushroom; however it came deep-fried, which none of us remembered even being mentioned in the description of the dish on the menu. The crab cake appetizer was just okay - not very fresh tasting. And why would an asian-inspired restaurant that serves tea in great iron pots use BAGGED tea? Maybe their brunch is better but for the prices they charge for dinner and the quality of the food, I can't believe they have stayed in business this long.
Pros: Nice Waitstaff
Cons: Food, price
