In the quality-driven restaurant market place of San Francisco where many eateries have a short shelf-life, Tangerine has continued to offer consistent excellent service, menus, and atmosphere for more than five years.
While the menu continues to vary in Pan Pacific offerings, there are some favorites to which I invariably return. The calamari and soft shelled crab are delicious appetizers; the New Zealand lamb chops
and fish entrees always are fresh with tangy sauces; and the cheese cake is to die for (the best, this side of NYC)!
In addition to the delightful engagement of culinary delights, is the welcoming nature of its co-owners (Sean and Peter) and their staff who consistently provide efficient service. The decor is
restful, the artwork interesting, and the flower arrangements are superb.
Make sure you call in for reservations. Tangerine has become one of "the best places to eat" in San Francisco.
