Unlike the previous two reviewers, my experience was excellent. I shopped on a Saturday, and the store was packed with customers. I've just learned to knit and was looking for a conversion chart that a friend had gotten there. Even though I didn't quite know how to term what I was seeking, the staff knew exactly what I wanted. And when it came time to choose my yarn, they happily climbed up to check the stock stored above the cubbies full of yarn. (Their selection is huge and varied.) I felt very welcomed, and I will definitely shop there next time I'm in SF.
