My wife and I ate dinner here last night before the Guthrie. 90 minutes was not quite enough time to enjoy all that jP offers. We started with the calamari which was excellent; a large portion of little ringlets that were slightly seasoned and not fried. I had the duck breast which was a bit expensive ($28) but it tasted fantastic and was a good sized portion. My wife had the duck ravioli it was a light, almost pastry like pasta excellent. jP has a small selection of wine, but many bottles were $40 or less. Our waiter was very personal and attentive, but could have done a better job keeping our wine glass filled. The appetizer came a bit too early, but perhaps that was because we told our waiter we had a theater commitment. The dining area was a bit noisy as the restaurant became busy.
Pros: Wine Value, Excellent Food, Dining Discount
Cons: , Tad Expensive
