In Oklahoma and Texas, there is a Sonic on every corner, because they have the best burgers around. You get a choice of mayo or mustard, which is unusual at burger places, and the burgers are cooked to order, but fast, and delivered by carhops usually on skates. They also have great flavored Cokes, cherry limeaid, and all kinds of interesting drinks, and they do something to their ice which makes it last longer without melting, so you can hang on to your drink for hours, and it's still cold. (I have relatives who go to Sonic every day just for a Coke.) And, they give you a choice of tater tots or fries. Love those tater tots!
I am delighted that they have spread this chain to California! The only one in this area is in Tracy, but I understand that more will be opening soon.
