I am a resident of this great city and am well aware of the many great restaurants here. This is one of them. Great portions for the money. Yes it's crowded and tourists come here, but it's Fisherman's Wharf. What do you expect? Cost-wise, a recent trip w/ 2 friends came to $140 before tip (2 apps bottle of wine & 3 entrees). I've had crappy meals on pier 39 for more $. Service was excellent. IMPORTANT: They do not accept reservations, but they do have a nice bar where you can enjoy a few drinks while you wait (expect 45 minutes or so). You can always leave you name and go walk around for a while. Highly recommended and I will be back.
