The more you know about food and the possibilities that taste, texture, smell, and temperature can play in food, the more you will love going to AOC.
And the more you will love going back.
The taste of a perfectly fried egg is not lost on many people, but put that hot egg on top of a frisee salad with crispy brioche, and you almost have to stop and think about what is going on in your mouth. That one dish alone taught me more about what it takes to make food transcend sustinence than the two years I've worked in restaurant kitchens.
Having said that, this restaurant is not for everyone. But don't take anyone else's word for it--find out for yourself.
