My visit to Eyeglass World few weeks ago was my first. I had scheduled an eye exam for that day. My experience was outstanding. I was greeted and temperature checked before I filled out all the paperwork. Everyone was very friendly. Then after a short wait I had the preliminary checks done and then was called into the doctor’s office for the exam. The doctor was Svetlana. Svetlana was very thorough and spent a lot of time explaining my needs and answering my many questions. Then I picked frames and finalized the purchase which consisted of a pair of no line bifocals and a pair of sunglasses. I was told both sets would be ready in 7 to 10 business days which was perfect for my driving vacation 2 weeks later. Well my bifocals arrived on time but the sunglasses were not ready after 10 business days. I called in the day before my vacation (12th business day) and got ahold of Tammy. I asked if my glasses were in, she checked and apologized that they were not. I explained my situation with vacation and how disappointed I was. She then put me on hold and called the lab where the glasses were being made to find out the status. They informed her that there was an issue with my lenses and it would be a couple more days. Tammy knew that wouldn’t work for me so she immediately offered a temporary fix to help me out. She said she would pick out another frame and have their in store lab put sunglass lens in them with my prescription for me to use on vacation. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated her quick resolve. The glasses were ready that evening and they worked perfectly for my long drive. When I returned from vacation I went in to pick up my special sunglasses and had the opportunity to meet Tammy. What a customer focused individual! She turned a tough situation into a very positive experience. Thank you Tammy for everything! Because of you and your other team members my family and I will be back to Eyeglass World for all our eyeglass needs. I will also recommend Rockford Eyeglass World to all my friends. Thanks a
