At first, the hospice home seemed very nice, a desk worker showed us around the building and gave us a sweet welcome. The nurses took great care of my grandfather, giving him pain medication when he was showing discomfort, and even clean-shaving him. While the care was great, I felt very out of place and unwelcome. The doctor's would snap at me, and they seemed to have a problem whenever I'd come out of the room. They imposed strict rules on company, and I felt like I was staying in a prison rather than visiting my loved one.
