Great Italian restaurant on the waterfront. During warmer months you can sit outside on the deck right on top of the water. But even during cold months, their windows are tall and wide, you still get an excellent view of the ocean as you enjoy your meal.\r more

we had THE BEST italian food last night...they have a view of the water, great (somewhat cheesy) vibe...enhanced by the fact that the next room was a private party with a DJ, boisterous dancing in circles after a jewish wedding (shalom!) ...wonderful dinner, EXCELLENT waiter, clean bathroom, delicious eggplant/mushroom/shrimp appetizer, chicken parm entree with THE BEST RED SAUCE with fresh grated parm (cheese, please!) plus good glass of vino (red wine, of course!) and excellent bread with olive oil for dipping...thanks to the staff and the talented chefs and extra thank you to our waiter who didn't give us any grief for splitting an entree. most places charge you extra and/or give you an attitude about ordering just 1 plate for 2 people. we got an appetizer and it was great, but we decided we could share an entree and surprisingly the waiter was cool about it. we tipped VERY well and it was worth every penny!\r \r more

When we walked in the room was inviting and romantic. The view of the water was spectacular and set the mood perfectly. The staff was eager to help with all aspects of this event and remained professional from beginning to end. There was nothing that we needed and didn't receive. Since that day everyone has been raving about how great the food was which I can't blame them I went back last week just for dinner. It was truly a dream come true for my daughter and our family. I would highly recommend il Fornetto.\r more

Loved this restaurant alot 6/22/2010

I brought my BF to this place on fathers day and he loved it, everything from a simple Mediterrean salad to his Salmon Portofino, to his cheesecake was excellent. The restaurant has valet parking which is free just add a little tip for car service and no worries. I did not have to wait to be seated had a reservation. Overall this was a great restaurant just opposite the busy streets of Emmons Ave. The price of all three selection was average. Nothing to break your budget. Pros: mediterrean salad, gargonzalo salad, salmon,& chicken dish Cons: seating for two was on the street level side. more
