Dear owner(s): You guys are definitely trying too hard. What I mean by that is that you are entering all reviews yourselves. What a bunch of loosers!!! Hey if your restaurant is ...

Was hungry so ate here 3/30/2011

This was some of the best yumminess i have ever eaten ever in my life. It made my tummy happy and that was good for me because it made me smile and stuff. The best part was the gooey ketchupy syrupy tasting sweetness of the red sauce on the pinchetes meat. The wine pairing was also super good. The red wines filled my mouth with good red wine taste and that worked since the beef was nice an red like the wine. The white wine was also good. It tasted like fruits from a farm and i sipped some every time i took a bite of the seafood rice dish. Amazing! more

Won't go, they seem to fake reviews 2/7/2010

Have considered going to this place, but was scared off by monotonous succession of spam-like rave reviews written in the same style apparently on behalf of the restaurant. Visitors to this site please note: the reviews are generally more trustworthy when they come from people who have reviewed multiple businesses. more

Great Place 10/13/2008

This place is great. For the quality of the food, the price is VERY reasonable and they have a great, reasonably priced winelist. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about wine.I love this place.I would recommend to anyone more

The $100 Mistake: Overpriced and Mediocre at Best 6/22/2008

I have no idea how this restaurant has received so many 5 star reviews because between the quality of the food, and the ridiculous prices, it is worth at best 1 star (and that's stretching it).\r \r The sangria barely has any alcohol, and tastes bland. The oyster appetizer looked like it was regurgitated and tasted that way as well. The quail leg was freezing cold, and when we told the waitress that it was too cold to eat, she explained that all cold tapas were that temperature. There is a big difference between cold and the temperature of an icicle...and this was so cold it was not even edible.\r \r The Jamon Serrano plate was little better that a few slices (probably from a package) tossed on a plate, and the stuffed peppers were bland and also freezing cold. The dish of olives was small, and little better than the ones from a jar. For such low quality food the prices were astounding, and the quantities were tiny. In one dish, about half of the clam shells were actually missing clams inside.\r \r Now I understand that Tapas can be expensive, and have no illusions that quality food has a price, but these prices are truly unjustifiable. Our bill (for 2) was a bit over $100.00, and we still left feeling hungry.\r \r Please, before you even think about going to this place, read all of the REAL reviews...not the fake ones that go on and on about how authentic and cozy this place is. We fell into the trap of reading the good ones, and writing off the bad ones as isolated incidents, and that was a BIG mistake...actually a $100.00 mistake. Pros: Looks Authentic, but looks are deceiving Cons: Overpriced, Low Quality, Small Portions more

slloooooowwwwww service over priced and blah 4/11/2008

the service was sooooo slow. A few of the items we ordered were ok, the cheese stick things forget what they are called. The chicken with french fries was the nastiest thing.... it looked and tasted like they had pulled it out of the dupster at the meat packing plant 2 blocks away......\r The sangria was good but the small pitcher was only 3 glasses. Bad value. \r \r I do hear that they have a decent happy hour, might be worth checking out for drinks . \r Pros: out door seating Cons: just not that great more

Great Food, Awesome Drinks, and Service the way it should be. 12/23/2007

I went out to Zipi Zape, a Saturday night, and we drove in. There was parking everywhere. There is a bar and restaurant (seating area), and the owners are very relaxed. The patrons seemed to be very relaxed and willing to talk to you as soon as you walked in the door. The drinks were awesome, and we had a wonderful time hanging out until they closed. They had even stayed open an extra half hour after close for us since we were having such a wonderful time. All, of the food was wonderful. This is a must do to start your night. Pros: Great tasting drinks, and food Cons: They close at midnight. more

Diego is brilliant. 3/11/2007

Don't waste your time experimenting around Williamsburg. I've been here for 8 years and I have to say Diego's cooking is an old homestead, everything I've had was delicious, and the service is awesome. I really cannot give enough accolades. Pros: The food, the service, the seafood. Cons: No brunch, .. yet. more

don't waste your time. the service was absolutely awful. we were completely ignored and left without ever getting served or being acknowledged on a saturday night when there were empty tables, you do the math. Cons: horrible service more

So yummy!!!! 4/3/2006

Wow, I have not had tapas that good in a long time! I heard good reviews & they were actually true! The croquetas, garlic shrimp, razor clams, chorizo et al were amazing. can't go wrong with anything on the menu. House cocktails were limited but the wines are nice. Worth the trip to Williamsburg! Staff was very laid back & attentive. Cute decor & nice ambience! This one is a winner & a keeper Pros: inexpensive, seemed authentic Cons: small dining area, not in manhattan more

it's this a joke or what? 3/26/2006

I totally agree with another review in the long list (ARE YOU KIDDING ME) ""Where have you eaten before"" It was so overpriced the food would not even be enough to feed my little baby cat. (3 mini sausages cut them in halves to make the illusion of six?) The services was not apropiated for a place which pretend to be so fancy. The waitress was dress in pajamas or so. Last thing, what is the point of having dining room if you not even have dinner to serve. We spent a big amount in just ten minutes just to have to go to a real restaurant to have dinner. Cons: overpriced, expensive more

what can I tell you... 3/20/2006

Dear owner(s): You guys are definitely trying too hard. What I mean by that is that you are entering all reviews yourselves. What a bunch of loosers!!! Hey if your restaurant is not good enough don't you think people will notice...da! You don't have to be super smart to figure it out. Do great cooking and the excellent reviews will come themselves..but don't think that citysearch users are stupid...please. Cons: expensive more

I was hearing about this tapas bar from catalan friends...finally made it to go there..only 20 minutes from Manhattan...and such a discovery make to wonder there is no tapas place in Manhattan...After you eat here you will forget Tia pol or Casa Mono even Ripert's new joint Barca 18.....Theit tapas menu far creative and tasty then these places. The place is very cozy..Every detail is so cute...Tortilla was top notch, lomo de cerdo was excellent, montaditos""filet mignon carpacio "" ,their chocolate souffle..I do not think i have enough space to express..So I will leave it to you....Just go there and try the food and experience how the Spanidh food suppose to be.... Pros: excellent food, price, service more
