That is humility in action 2/21/2012

World Taekwondo Center has been a wonderful opportunity for me to spend time with my dad and brother. It has taught me confidence and perseverance. The aspect of Taekwondo that I enjoy the most is that the instructors, are will to help me with my kicks outside of class. Their willingness to give up some of their time to spend on a green belt with really bad aim shows a degree of selflessness that I find admirable. Instead of being selfish with their time, they spend it on others, putting the needs of others above their own. That is humility in action. more

World Taekwondo Center made all possible 2/9/2012

For several years, I had been looking for an activity that that I could do as a parent together with my children. World Taekwondo Center made this possible. Over the last year, I have been able to do TKD with my 12-year-old son and my 17-year-old daughter. We have all enjoyed it. While we have each gotten in better physical shape, the fact that we have done TKD together has meant the most to me. My relationship with my son and with my daughter has grown stronger as we have worked together toward a shared goal. more

I do Tae Kwon Do to learn. World Taekwondo Center teaches me self-discipline. I learn to always finish what I start. I learn kicks, punches, etc., but most of all, I have fun. more

learn to respect other people. 12/9/2011

I really like sparring the most because you get to fight somebody and you get points. But you have to hit the person in the chest protector, or the head guard. Tae Kwon Do makes me have stronger muscles. It helps me learn to respect other people. more

David is learning to be a part of that community. I also feel that both of my sons are stronger, more agile and are fitter than they would be after being in theWorld Taekwondo Centerprogram. The important theme of respect is very well practiced at TKD. Thanks for supporting my boys and for caring whether they succeed. more

Best martial arts school 6/14/2011

I was o excited about attending a tae kwon do class, therefore I came at this one, every expectation I had has been fulfilled, and I am sure I have chosen one of the best in the business. The sensei is great, the atmosphere is great, and my self defense is now great too thanks to the tae kwon do class I attended there. more

Not only do you get a quality lesson in this class, but you also get a quality instructor. I have been thoroughly impressed with your the instructors. My child loves the high energy classes and as a parent I appreciate the life values they teach. I have seen a complete change in my son?s demeanor. He is more respectful and better focused in school.I have seen improvements in my son in just a short time. Great environment with super friendly group. more

Professional Services 1/20/2011

Never in my life have I been so impressed by a martial arts school. I've stood in World Tae Kwon Do Center in awe of how amazing the place is. No joke. I took a single free Tae Kwon Do class here, then subsequently ended up joining so my review is based on that: FACILITIES! This school is incredible. The new facilities are clean (I saw a guy singing and going around cleaning the floors), and very inviting. Equipment is new and very well kept, not tossed around or shoved in a corner like other places I've seen. The training floor is well sized and there are tons of classes a day so that no single class is overcrowded. more

This 'school' succs. The city of Irvine is embarrassed because of this laughing stock of white washed karate! I would rather slam my head against a counter than every time I go to 24hour fitness having to hear those god damn miserable kids scream for their parents to take them home. Jesus people! Pay money to torture your kids??? I saw some kids running through the parking lot screaming for their parents in their dodo or gee or whatever, uniform, dropping their equipment in the street trying to escape the school! I don't know about you, but somethings not right. Pros: amusement Cons: screaming unhappy people more

My husband & I both have signed up for lessons and it sure is hard. I always admired your adult students and now I have an even greater respect for their perseverence and dedication to continue. I ache all over after class! This will be great for both of us and help us get into better shape. Once the kids finish laughing at some of our attempts to do kicks, they are very supportive and encouraging. We are excited to be doing this as a family. more

Black Belt Farm -- AVOID 7/22/2008

This is no different then buying a degree online, you just buy your black belt for a fee. Beware, they want to take money directly from your bank account and limit the number of classes you can attend. They try to show a nice face but as soon as there is something they don't like they tell you to ""GET OUT"" and keep your money. When they took over the school in Rancho they originally promised to honor the previous contracts, then changed their tone and required everyone to pay more. Pros: For beginning it is OK Cons: Just mediocare instructors, very limited classes, and VERY expensive. more

My child absolutely loves this place‎ 5/16/2008

They take the time to teach children that martial arts is not just about kicks a punches but respect and responsibility in everyday life. They are taught the importance of taking care of their bodies, to helping at home, to respect towards adults. On top of that, my child really enjoys going to classes and learning something positive. more

great staff at this studio 3/18/2008

My daughter has been attending here for a while now and this place have the best staff. Instructor Nicholas is very nice and Master Hwang is very motivational. Instructor Ashley is really great with kids and my daughter especially likes her. My daughter is now looking up to Instructor Ashley and its great she has a role model that is so positive. My daughter listens better now and she realizes the importance of the life skills taught here. more

this is the best studio in irvine 3/13/2008

My son tried out other studios in the area and this studio is the best in Irvine. My son is highly motivated by the instructors and really look up to them. I like how they focus on his child development. He learned about the importance of listening and respect before they taught him to kick and block. In fact, all the kids in this studio know about how important it is to listen and my son is doing better at home because of it. more
