Never having had one done, my anticipation of having two crowns done led me to inquire about this scheduled procedure. After the initial, "ughhh...not that!!!", from my third or fourth responder, I decided to not prepare myself for the worst. While having a crown attached will never get on my list of, "The Ten Thousand Best Experiences In My Life", it really was not that bad. The discomfort was more of an annoying pressure caused by the filing and buffing steps, I really would not call the process "painful". Yes, it was time-consuming...yes, I could have skipped the delightful sensation that came from the "shots of air" that kept the working surface dry...and yes, my jaws were sore from having held my mouth open to its widest range during much of the procedure (which resolved in about a day), but, nothing about it would keep from referring anyone to this dental practice for "getting crowned", or anything else. Dr. McCormick and his team were "top drawer" from start to finish. THANK YOU !!!
