Pediatrician Matthew Kacir cares more about wardrobe 8/30/2011

My son has asthma, eczema, and extreme allergies, for which Dr. Kacir told me to wash everything I could in hot water. I asked Dr. Kacir to sign and send a medical authorization to the gas company so that I would have time to pay my bill before my hot water was shut off (caring doctors do this all the time in the state of Ohio). All he had to do was sign a paper saying that my son had these conditions, and he couldn't even do that. The denial was rude!! He wouldn't even talk to me about it himself, he enlisted his even more rude secretaries to do it!! Regardless to the fact, I remained calm and simply asked for an explaination as to why he wouldn't sign the paper and noone would give me any answer save for ""he doesn't usually do that for his patients"". Wait a minute....Dr. Kacir usually doesn't care about his juvenille patients' living conditions outside of the practice?? I decided to take my children elsewhere!! About a month later, the same day my son was seen at his new pediatrician, I got a notice in the mail saying my new pediatrician, who was also my family practice physician, was dropping our family from the practice because Dr. Kacir was dropping my kids!!! Apparently, he dropped them the day the other Dr. office called for their records!! Is that legal?? Who does that?? Never go here for Pediatrics...or at least don't see Dr. Kacir. He is more concerned with his apperance than he is for kids more

HORRIBLE, DISRESPECTFUL, UNCARING 7/7/2011

My two disabled preschool children used to have a pediatrician at this location. One day I was 10 minutes late for an appointment. We were scheduled for the last appointment of the day, but there were still three patients in the lobby waiting to be seen. I apologized for our tardiness, checked in, sat and waited for over an hour while three other people were seen ahead of us, and was then told the doctor had left and refused to see my daughter because I was late. more

rude and not helpful 3/11/2008

My wife went here for pink eye. They gave her a prescription and a work excuse and told her to come back if she needed to stay out another day... come to find out they would not do it and the Doctor she saw isn't even employed by them. My wife is pregnant and has had a few illnesses during her pregnancy, which in turn she has missed many days at work. She could have lost her job because of their incompetence. They didn't care even when she explained this to them. She had to set up an appointment with her primary care physician just to get a work excuse. Not to mention we sat there for over two hours with only one doctor on staff and three patients ahead of us. I wish we would just have went to the ER. two co-payments for the price of one anyone? Cons: we waited for two hours and only had three people in waiting room more
