Very poor customer service, absolutely the worst warranty in the industry. this is my last visit at a WalMart. i would rather pay more at a local retailer and get some help!

Editorial review from Citysearch 12/1/2012

Ok so, here's what happened: I went to the grocery store(walmart in Portland, Oregon). When I came out and was heading to the back of my car I noticed that my FAVORITE magnet, one that Taylor bought for me when we went to the beach, which says ""Support our troops"" wasn't on my car. When in Texas I had another, that he bought for me, stolen while I was shopping at a walmart.. I became very irritated when I saw that this one too, was now gone. When I reached my car I found the magnet cut into pieces and thrown on my bumper and the ground. I'm fuming at this point but still have my whits about me. I cleaned the mess and proceeded to put away my groceries. I kept hearing a group off teenage girls giggling and talking but couldn't quite make out what was being said. I casually scan the parking lot. They're all looking directly at me. I didn't say anything I just went on thinking they were mindless girls. They then backed out of their parking space and drove by, roughly 25 ft from me. As they passed I heard all of them, in cadence yell, ""Fu** the troops. And fu** your husband, too, bi***!"" You would think as much money is spent there you could at least get rid of Kids hanging around the parking lot. Also dont yall have cameras there ? since that girl was killed in a walmart parking lot. more

Don't bother 12/7/2010

I went to the pharmacy a few days ago and had to walk away empty-handed. I came up to the order window, waited, knocked on the counter, stood around for about 4 minutes. No cigar. The only person working was the girl at the register. 2 others, a black woman and a balding man in white robes, were chatting with each other without a care in the world. The check-out girl had to use a computer and on her way back mentioned to them that I was waiting but they did not hear her. Well, their medicine must be DAMN good. Too bad they don't want to share it with customers. On another note I used this location's auto shop earlier last decade, around 2001-2003 and it was great. The manager seemed totally pro. He does not seem to be working there any more as of 2005, so I would be leery of taking my car there. Especially since the woman at the counter does not know what a balljoint is. I would love to explain it to her but there were other people in line. more

good and bad 4/20/2010

April 20, 2010 about 4pm, my family and i have been a regular shopper at (4200 SE 82nd ave Walmart). After we finished browsing around, we decide to check out. we went to first checkout closer to the pharmacy where only accept 12 items or less. there were NO line, the cashier was finishing up her last customer. we only have about 15 items so we decide to go to her register. the young lady refuse to help us. how nice!!! maybe she had a bad day.\r \r but the register we went to, the Cashier, name Nancy was really respectful, she went above and beyond her duty to help her customer, not only she was nice but she even help putting out merchandise into our shopping cart. with a customer service like that, we'd always shop at this walmart. \r \r PS\r Walmart further south toward oregon city, we got robbed once, item was taken right under my nose while we load merchandise into the car and we witness a shoplifting in progress. told the manager but not sure he does anything. just becarful with you shop over there. Pros: mature cashier know how to treat their customers Cons: amature cashier need some improvement more

I feel guilty for having shopped here 1/18/2010

First time I have crossed that line and walked into a Walmart. Definitely better than KMart (or Big K or whatever) but what's that saying? I was amazed looking up and down the aisles and did have fun buying some ordinary things at low prices, but at what cost? The 19-20 yr old clerks I encountered lacked enthusiasm and knowledge. Lines were long, atmosphere was none existent. But, is was shopping for essentials, not dining out on a fancy occasion. Pros: Great prices, tons of products Cons: Duh, it's Walmart! more

It's Xmas every day. 10/15/2002

If you can get past the frustrating parking experience, and the loads and loads of people from every ethnicity inside that makes it seem that every day here is hectic Christmas time, then you'll have a good experience. Where else can you buy a toaster, video game, and a giant store-it-all bin in one place? Fred Meyer, that's where--and it's less crowded. But seriously, this place just stuns me when I go in here. SOOO many things to inflate my credit card bill with. Good prices. They need to expand to a 24 hour format, however, so people who enjoy at least 3 feet of space around them can shop in peace. Pros: HUGE parking lot, Good value, HUGE selection Cons: Muchmuch too crowded, Some items rickety, Out of some sale item more
