I wanted to add a 3rd line to my account and went to this authorized dealer. When I got there Francisco (the person in charge) was smoking outside so we waited until he was done & went in to the store together. I told him on that day there was an online promotion going on for a free phone and I wanted to take a look at it before ordering. He said he can offer the same promotion and proceeded to help. He said I had to pay upfront (which is normal) and I will get a rebate form to submit. Everything went smooth up until a couple weeks later when Verizon Rebate sent me a card saying the rebate is invalid.
He tricked me into buying the phone knowing fully well that there was no rebate. I went to the store to ask what was going on and he said he couldn't do anything! Verizon Rebate is a totally different entity and he had no connections with them!
I am really unhappy, not because I lost my money but because he doesn't care. He also couldn't transfer the contact list from the old phone into the new one saying that Verizon didn't release the software to do so.
