We were told by "Dr." Ken Coldwell that we should "wait a few days" after my goose was attacked by a bobcat. He was drinking but not eating and he had horrific wounds on his head and neck. So we waited...Because vets are supposed to know what they're talking about. Well...My goose was doing great for a couple days. Drinking a lot, walking, standing, and talking like normal. We even got some food in him. By the time we got in to see the vet...my goose had a high fever and bacteria and infection were spreading through his blood stream. Coldwell gave us a couple of medications to give him, (one which said for use in dogs ONLY and one which was used on human children), told us to keep him out of the A/C and that he should be feeling much better in just 24 hours, and sent us on our way. He said he expected him to live and make a full recovery in about three weeks. During the office visit, Coldwell was literally poking, proding, and jabbing at my goose's wounds simply to prove his points...H
