Usa Legal Funding

Just wanted to post a review because I used usa legal funding back in early 2010. Their approach may not be for everyone because of the guidelines and I think that is the reason for the disparity in reviews. My sister and I both applied because our home that we share was put into foreclosure back in December 2009. We were both approved but a friend who I referred who was also approved did not get the refund she was supposed to get due to a review that was initiated on her file by her lender. I guess they cant help everyone and its not always something that they can control especially when dealing with government agencies. I read the posts and I think that its unfair to blame them for something they warn you about in advance in writing, its in all of their contracts in plain view. I know it may seem like I'm siding with them or work for them but I dont I was just one of their clients that was helped by their service and wanted to throw in my 2 cents for what its worth. more

My husband and I fell behind on our mortgage when he lost his job about a year ago. No matter how much we tried our mortgage company would not work with us. We called them everyday just like they asked, sent in the documentation that they asked for over and over again and applied for modification after modification to no avail. I called usa legal funding and spoke with Keith our rep about our situation. He put together a plan that helped us to pay down our arrears and take our home out of foreclosure and make our mortgage payments for a least the next 3 years. They really helped us when we needed it the most. They explained the process and walked us through everything. Great people, great plan, great service. Seems as if the living poster is a competitor or something because that is not the experience that we had. Anyway we couldn't be happier with our experience and if we ever got into a situation like that again I would call them 1st. They did exactly what they told us they would and I cant thank them enough for it. more

9/01/2010 I found out my home was being forclosed on. I started looking for options. On the internet USA legal funding came up under forclosures. I contacted them. Keith Nelson asured me he could get me $9500.00 in student loans and grants if I applied for online school.He told me that the tuition would be already paid for and I would be getting the full amount to live on. it was for more then the amount I was behind on the house. I was overjoyed. I agreed he applied for me and I was asured that I would be getting the money around December 1st. He also told me he would contact our lender and give him a promisary note for the amount I was behind and that would stop the forclosure. For his services he wanted $1000.00. I sent him the money. After that I never heard from him again. On 11/3.2010 I sent him an email wanting to know if he had sent the letter to our lender. I got no response and again on 11/16/2010 I send an other email. I also have called and left several messages, but have never gotten a response. 1/5/2011 they forclosed on my house. 1/19/2011 I recived $1700.00 from the online school. I figured I would be getting the rest of the loans soon. I contacted the school and they told me that I was indeed aproved for the $9500.00 but they took out $7800.00 for tuition!That is $650.00 a credit. I found out I could have inroled localy for $120.00 a credit. My husband is bedridden with cancer and I have to find a new place to live. If Mr. Nelson had been honest with me, I would have done something differnt. I would recomend not to do any business with this company. more
