Just in response to DD's review. Nothing you had in the review actually was the responsibility of the ambulance crew/company. When transferring pt's, the crew is told very little, to nothing at all about your condition. Only if they (the crew) need to administer special treatments en route to the other hospital, are they told about the pt's condition, or illness. I can easily understand the mix up among probably many other very confusing things while you were ill. But, to explain to you about your condition is the Dr's. job at the hospital. Not the ambulance crew/company. more

The Day I took a Fast Ride !!! 5/30/2006

Not a particularly enjoyable ride especially when you are not sure what is going on. I went to one hospital and than I was transported to another branch of their hospital per the above ambulance service but all I was told is that they could not adequately care for me without giving me information about what they thought might be going on. So I was very nervous, to say the least but it was an emergency where I could have had a stroke which I found out later. The bill? Let's say that ambulances are not very cheap! more
