I ordered a part for a customer of mine that I value greatly! After 2 weeks of not receiving the item or an email, or a phone call back, I called again. This time some rude mechanic answered and didn't have a clue what he was doing. I was explaining how much I was upset about the lack of communication, and he told me to ""shut my trap"". I then told him if he kept on he would hear from my attorney. Then he hung up on me. I called back and he answered and chuckled and said he was just gonna refund my money. Not offered to do anything to make it right, just drop the order is all. So now they won't answer the phone when I call to get an owner or manager. So now I have to explain all this to my customer and look like a fool. Thanks Turf Tractor! Great job and nice doing business with you! more

I payed for my part a month ago and still haven't recieved i 5/21/2012

I ordered a part for my peerless transmission, as it showed in stock and at a great price. Unfortunately after not recieving it a week after paying for it, I called them, and the said it had to be special ordered from the distributor and would take seven to ten business days before it shipped. Now that its been a month I called back several times before reaching a person. She told me they have no ETA from the distributor. I found out after I could have bought the whole transmission for $20 less than I paid for the part and already had it delivered. I am disgusted with Turf Tractor. My mistake was not checking reviews before making a purchase. Pay a little more elsewhere and get your part. Wish I had seen these reviews 5/16/2012

Ordered some parts from this company. According to their site: \r \r ""Estimated Delivery time is 2-5 business days for most items.\r Your item will be shipped within 1 day or you will be notified by email.\r Items are professionally shipped using a major courier from the closest warehouse.""\r \r Items were ordered late on a Monday. Order processed Tuesday. It is now the following Wednesday and I have no tracking info or parts. Called phone number several times and always got an answering machine. Message states best way to contact them is to e-mail. Sent an e-mail asking for tracking number and order update. Waited 24 hours, no response. Sent another e-mail asking for an order update by noon otherwise cancel the order. Finally got a response that my parts were not in stock and had to be ordered from a distributor. It was going to be an additional 7-10 business days before it shipped. Funny that the parts said they were in stock. Had they known that they had to special order them, they should have e-mailed me, or even better not lied and said they were in stock. more

Avoid thsi business at all costs or it will cost you 4/17/2012

Similar to the other review I had nearly the same problem with my parts being delivered or refund granted. My credit card was charged the day I placed the order, and after sending requests for an order status update every two weeks after the expected delivery date, I would sometimes receive no response or a vague response with no detail. After I requested an order cancellation it took another month of waiting until I lost patience and filed a dispute with my credit card. Luckly the credit card company immediately refunded my money and interest and from what I learned collected back from turftractor. In summary, a terrible experience, and a terrible business. more

Beware of Turf Tractor 12/9/2011

On 10/21/2011 I placed an online order with Turf Tractor for John Deere tractor parts that were confirmed as in-stock prior to placing the order. After weeks of non-delivery I began trying to get clarification on when the parts would arrive. I received several promise dates that never came to pass. After several unanswered emails, phone messages, and contact attempts through the Turf Tractor website, I eventually contacted Steve Rogers on 11/29/2011 who suggested that I cancel the order for a complete refund. On that day I received notice that the order had been cancelled and refunded through PayPal. On 12/2 I received notice through PayPal that the eCheck payment was declined by the senders bank. I again contacted Mr. Rogers and he explained that this was just a systematic delay as a result of using an eCheck, and he assured me that the refund would go through in the next couple of days. On 12/9/2011 (today) I again received notice from PayPal that the refund had failed because the payment did not clear the senders bank. Turf Tractor operates like a business on credit hold with its vendors. They appear to be fraudulently soliciting business that they do not have the means to provide. Claims with the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection Agency are in order. Turf Tractor should simply refund payment for goods and services promised but not delivered.
