I have been going to Tonya Jones for over a year now. Aaryn has always kept my hair a natural light brown, sometimes a little lighter by request for the warmer months. I have also had beautiful make up done by Angela. Besides the squeezed in appointments which have made mine late, I would highly recommend this salon and these stylists. more

Best Hair Ever! 6/16/2011

After moving to Birmingham, I used to go home (five hours away) to get my hair cut. After discovering TJS, I'll never have to do that again! I love Devin and all of the other guys and gals - they're always so personable and friendly. I'm so grateful and happy to have found the perfect salon. more

Excellent Stylist 6/15/2011

My stylist, Jade, is a true professional; I remember when she was at the Aveda Insitute. When I tell her what I want she understands and delivers!!! On the other hand, my reception as I entered the salon this time and the last was at best "luke warm." While I was not offered a warm greeting or anything to drink,a gentlemen who entered after me was greeted very warmly and asked if he wanted anything to drink. This could be a reason why I would not return to Tonya Jones. more

Sumetri did a great job with my cut and hair color. I'm a hard customer to please and it always takes a few days for me to know if I like the color . I wasn't sure when I walked out of the salon but now I absolutely love the color. more

I love coming here!! Everyone is super nice and not trying to sell you everything..Its clean , the stylist are awesome, it's comfortable and you get a beverage when you come in!!! more

I got my hair done on Saturday with Jade she fixed my hair. I love it. She took her time to explain what was going on with my hair I had damage to my hair. So we had to start from over. I would tell everyone I know to give the a try. They use very good products They are all natural. more

Problem-Solving at Tonya Jones Salon 6/8/2011

I went to Ashley with a problem: I'm ready to let my hair grow out to its natural color, but it's a shoulder-length mish-mash of my natural brown, advancing gray, and the dark blonde color I've been covering it with all these years. Growing it out could be a train wreck, particularly with a family wedding in my near future. Ashley analyzed my hair and discussed the possibilities with me. We decided on a plan of action and she executed it flawlessly, leaving me with results that exceeded my expectations. Ashley will be managing my transformation over the next couple of years, and it will look so natural, you may never even guess. Only my hairdresser knows for sure. more
