The Industry

Great customer service!!! Angela, Megan, (and their dog, Charlie!) are far from your typical, stuck up boutique employees. I'm new to the boutique world of clothing (moving up from good old American Eagle & Abercrombie); They were so patient with me, deciding between a pair of jeans and a few shirts (all on sale!) - they're eager to offer their opinion and lend a hand, but not pushy AT ALL. I HIGHLY suggest you stop by The Industry before checking out the other boutiques in the area. It's tough to find (I stumbled in by chance), but well worth the search. more

I'll admit that I'm not a huge fan of shopping for clothes but when it's time to update my wardrobe, I don't want to spend my clothing budget cash at the Walmart rack. :) What struck me first about this boutique is the great atmosphere. I was hooked when the friendly, knowledgeable staff helped me find some hip styles that I enjoy wearing. If you remotely care about dressing to impress, then do yourself a favor and check this place out! more

This Boutique is a must for fashion conscience men. They have a hip selection for the young professional and these lines make a smooth transition for sexy dating casual wear. The owners seem to have a real talent is selecting just the "right" looks for the season. Their selection of jeans is really great and I like how they display them at the "Jean Bar". The rest of the store layout is really fantastic and comfortable. Check out the lounge area in the back!! I love the red couch. Make this a "must go to" stop on your search for the perfect gear. more

I have been to The Industry several times and I am always pleased with the level of service that I receive and the outstanding product that is in the store. I love buying cute shirts and they have the best that I have seen around! I couldn't possibly make up my mind so the wonderful staff was very helpful finding colors and fits that were perfect for my body and personal taste! Thank you so much Megan and Angela!! more

This boutique, located in Fremont, is a totally fresh approach to retail. I like the fact that the clothes are displayed in a unique way, everything they have isn't on the store floor. It makes for an open look with all the hip and trendy styled clothing and accessories (especially jeans). Megan and Angela are very pleasant and responsive to customers. If you see something you'd like to try on and can't find your size - just ask and they probably have it in the back! If they don't have it - they will get it. I've been back several times and loved it each time!!! P.S. I'm not a 20 something - but I still loved this store and bought lots of hip and fashionable men's clothing. Just right for the relaxed, any time, look sexy feel. (By the way, don't let the dog scare you, he is sweet and very cute). more

I've been in a few times since they opened and I've always had a great experience. They have great styles and a really nice staff (totally knowledgeable, though not pushy :) I've bought gifts for just about everyone there...I even got my boyfriend to wear a pink shirt, and it looks hot! I noticed a lot of cool brands that you can't find anywhere else....totally fresh. more

I was so excited when I came across this store when I was visiting Fremont about two months ago. I love everything, from the way the store was set up, the way the clothes are presented, the helpful employees, and last but not least the cutest dog ever- Charlie, to greet you when you come in. The clothes are edgy and hot. I've always wanted to open my own boutique, and if I did, it would be exactly like The Industry. I hope The Industry continues to find success in the years to come. We need more places to shop, like The Industry. I can't wait to go back and see what's new. more

I have walked into this boutique just once in my lifetime, but I cannot say how much fun it was to walk in and be greeted by so many warm, caring, intriguing people. Sure, you might say the owners/workers in the store are obligated to do this and it drives sales, but some were customers, just there to bask in the setting, sit on the couches, watch a little tv. You know, the normal things you do in a clothing store...oh wait, no that isn't right...this store is far from ordinary and in the right direction! Angela is a gem. Megan is a cheerful presence! Charlie, well he mostly just lays on the counter, but can rock a polo better than any dog I have ever seen! If you like fashion trends, hip yet down to earth people, and just a good all out experience, Industry is your place. You might actually find an article or two to take home with you. I write this review not for fame or fortune but just because I am bored at work. And Angela is a dear of a friend! Love your store! more
