A good family pub. They serve generous portions with a good variety of lagers and IPA's. They have some competetive prices for happy hour fare. I had the cod. Very well done, but it's slow food. If you want things to go, best to call ahead. They've got great seating for watching soccer and rugby games and sustain lively discussions about the sport. I'd like to see more events centered around the entertainment there. Bring a friend. more

Bangers and Mash and More 12/29/2009

We enjoyed the bangers and mash and saw others enjoying pea soup and fish and chips. The food was a delight and so were the people serving us. The gift shop next door is loaded with goodies. Can't wait to go back for a weekend British breakfast! Pros: Different than everything else in the area more

The British Pantry is a welcomed delight. 9/6/2008

It was a pleasure to be in The British Pantry with all kinds of British items and then have a delicious meal at their restaurant Neville's next door. I wish I'd known about the British Pantry last summer when I was hunting for gifts to bring back home from England! It would have saved a lot of space in my luggage. My cousin, who also went to England last summer, thought I would enjoy it. She was so right! We're eager to go back for more shopping and dining. Pros: Great selection of items, and excellent menu. more

Are you looking for a British touch? 3/28/2007

This place is great! I mostly rave about the fresh pastries/baked items, but you can get all manner of foods/food ingredients for a variety of different English treats. The bakery, however, holds some delicious treats! The sausage rolls are fantastic! Take some home and pop them in the microwave for a few seconds and yum-o! The curry ""pies"" are great and flaky and have a great mild curry flavor. The dessert pastries are also great. There's great tarts and especially the custard filled ""mini-pies"" whose crusts just fall apart upon taking a bite. This is a great place to check out and is becoming a bit more well-known location in Redmond. Pros: Great selection of different ""UK items""... Cons: A bit difficult to find in Redmond for the uninitiated... more

YUM YUM 11/4/2006

We were recommended it by a brit selling homes in Bellevue and had to go and have a look when I tried to make gray with us stuff. Walked in and there it was BISTO GRAVY. Got a few other bits and then had a couple beers next door while watching rugby. We will be back and the owner was lovely to boot........................... Pros: Friendly and a nice pint after youv'e shopped Cons: a little pricey but all good things are......................... more

Enjoyed British Pantry 2/17/2006

If you like British food, British Pantry is where you need to go. Where else in this region can you find a good steak and kidney pie? Great bangers and mash, too. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Visit the adjoining store and buy British specialties, some made locally and others imported, to take home. I only wish for a similar British Pantry closer to Gig Harbor. Pros: Great food, Friendly service, Reasonable prices more

English Breakfast 12/22/2002

If you're going to the British Pantry, be sure to visit their restaurant ""Neville's."" The Sunday morning English Breakfast is spectacular! Bangers, amazing homefries, bacon, toast with jam or marmalade. Not good for the arteries, but my tummy was delighted! You've got to set the alarm clock though, breakfast is only on Sundays from 10 am - noon. Pros: great food, charming, hidden spot Cons: slow kitchen, longish wait time, limited hours more
