I always enjoyed a nice cup of tea in the evening but I never knew how beneficial it was to my health and well being. I also never knew how many different types of teas there were, each with different flavors, health benefits, and from all over the world. This is where Teavana comes in. Teavana is a retail store mixed with a tea bar of sorts. They sell beautiful tea makers, kettles, cups, books, and of course loose tea. They also make a large variety of tea drinks. Just be warned, this place is addictive. Once you go for the first time, you would want to go back everyday. more

Great Variety, Expensive 7/27/2006

This store is beautifully decorated. I'm an iced tea nut, and it's rare to get such a variety. However, the down side is that their pre-made iced tea comes already sweetened. The array of tea leaves for sale is dizzying. They have stuff from all over the world and in every variety imaginable. The staff is friendly and helpful and happy to let you smell the teas or to taste whatever they have already made. It's also a great place to pick up beautiful teapots (especially Asian variety) and special sweeteners (fancy honey, special types of sugar). All of this comes at a price,however, and you'll pay more than you would in a regular store/market. You can shop online as well or join their "Tea of the Month" club. more
