Dr Ellermann has been our vet for over 20 years. He's seen our many dogs and cats and has always treated them with expertise and compassion. We've had several tough decisions to make over the years and he's always given us the guidance to make the right one. Between his knowledge and his experience, he's the perfect vet for us. He's this wonderful cross between scientist and animal lover. His staff are the most helpful and wonderful folks, too. Dr. Ellermann came highly recommended to me by a co-worker who has been taking her cats there for many years. We were very impressed by his service and friendliness and will definitely be seeing him again for our dogs. We had multiple concerns about an older dog of ours and a new, young dog we just obtained from CAP; all of questions/concerns were answered completely and we feel very confident in their abilities. Our older dog even let them handle him; and he usually has to be muzzled for his examination! Great place...highly recommend to anyone who is looking for that down-home vet feeling in the big city. The thing I like most about Dr. Ellerman is that he doesn't pretend to know everything - it he's going by his gut and experience, he'll say so. Sometimes medicine is just like that, so you have to choose a vet who has seen a lot and can go by what he just feels is the best course of action. He's got a great reservoir of facts, reads the latest research, and has been a vet for so long, I trust his judgment 100%. Pros: It's reasonably priced, the vet is great, and the staff members are kind. Cons: It's a bit of a drive and the parking situation is tight. more

Stafford Veterinary Clinic is the next best place to being home for my pets. Dr. Ellerman and his staff are professional and friendly. \r \r They have taken care of all my dogs and cats for the last 26 years. It is the only place I will take my pet family members for care. \r \r All staff are well informed and have provided excellent care for my pets. Their knowledge in the area of veterinary medicine is extensive. They provide a safe and loving atmosphere with their boarding facilities.
