Not worth the money or the gas to get there. 8/24/2011

Not a great place. We have been there 4 times this summer and each time it was dirtier and more shabby. The bathrooms are indeed nasty as one poster has said and the owner is rude.The last time we went the lazy river had scum on the sides and piles of sand/mud in the bottom, not great for a clorinated pool. The whole place needs cleaned and painted and the attractions, if you can call them that are in disrepair. more

HORRIBLE! 7/20/2011

I would not recommend this place to anyone! The bathrooms are disgusting, the customer service is horrible, and they have the rudest people working there. I will pay the extra money to go to Columbus or Cincinnati next time....this place was not worth a penny or second of my time. If you do go here....please do not approach the manager/owner with ANY concerns or comments because she has to be the RUDEST person I have EVER met! more

i have been to splashdown with the kids for last two summers, we travel about 53 miles one way, so it is usually an all day event, we loved the slides, the lazy river, and everything about the water park, but was more

Needs Maintaince 5/25/2008

The cabin was nice. Nicely decorated and comfy beds. However, the heater did not work. The was something severely wrong with the water pressure and there was a pile of insulation in the silverware drawer. I believe it to have been a nest for a four legged little critter (this page will not allow me to actually tell you what type of mammal but possibly a friend to Mickey). So if you stay there, be sure to wash dishes and silverware before use. Also no blind or curtain over front door window, even though there is a bed in living room. more
