Sonic Drive-In

Sonic has great desserts and beverages. I think they are most noted for those. I like their burgers but I really like their toasters. It is thick toasted texas toast that serves as the buns. Their onion rings are really good and so is their chicken fingers. They have brown bag specials --where you can get 2 meals for nearly one's price--and things like that often. You park you car and eat like you used to do back in the 50's and they pipe out music for you to listen to. It's weird to call Sonic unique because most places were like this back then, but for today, Sonic is very unique. more

Sonic's food is pretty good. Their burgers aren't the greatest in the world, but, I like almost everything else they have. Sonic's is one of those eateries where you drive up to a monitor and park and place your order, then a carhop brings you food to you and you can eat in your car if you so desire. They're probably best known for their extra long cheese coneys. They have a big line of different slush drinks as well. They also have a lot of different desserts; way more than any other fast food place in the area. They have a lot of specials pretty regularly, so sometimes you can get a lot more for your money, although they aren't expensive to begin with. This is my favorite place to eat fast food. I don't even go there for food sometimes, they have the best fountain drinks around so I go sometimes just to get a drink. They have great breakfast toasters too and I like to get those some mornings. As far as desserts go, Sonic has you covered. My favorite thing they have is the Cream Pie shakes. I really dig the coconut cream pie shake. They even have weird things sometimes, like pecan pie shakes and things like that, as a special. The only thing I really hate about this Sonic, is they teased us with the pickle-o's for a bit and then took them back away. I could eat those things all day every day, they were so good. Too bad that they no longer sell them. more
