I went there the first time a couple weeks ago for dinner and got the BBQ chicken sandwich and a salad: the sandwich was HUGE, i could definitely only finish half, and it was GREAT. Their BBQ sauce leans more toward sweet than smoky, and hardly resembles anything you'd buy at the store (it's not very thick, but it tastes great). The salad was okay, nothing to write home about. I'd go for the mac & cheese next time. I was so impressed with the BBQ though (and especially the prices for a BBQ place) that I brought back a party of 16 the next night. After all of us sampling from each other's plates, I've probably now tried most of what's on the menu. The bread pudding is AMAZING, their breakfast plates are great (and served all day long!) and the mashed potatoes are insane. Burgers are giant and hearty, and you should try the deep-fried pickles...soooo good. Needless to say, if you're on a diet, you should give it up for one day and check this place out. Between the great food, the live music and how comfortable this small restaurant is, it's a definite must!
Pros: not too busy to get great service on weekends, excellent prices for meat, great value, great ambiance
Cons: it's not near any main downtown area
