I chose Small Blessings because of the accredited program and curriculum, but the proximity to my work is one of the best things about the school. Not only is my child in a great learning environment, but she is close by if I want to visit her for a special program, have lunch with her, or to just pop in for some TLC from mommy. Parents choose schools carefully for their children and have a variety of reasons for doing so?for me, it?s peace of mind knowing that my child is developing in a well-rounded curriculum and is close by should I need or want to be there during the day more

Our family has been a client of Small Blessings since 2002 when we enrolled our first son there. When our second son came along in 2005, there was no doubt what child development community he would attend. We love Small Blessing's focus on teaching and development from the infant age on up. In our family, it is always referred to as 'school' and not ""daycare"" because of this. Most importantly, our sons are happy and safe here, and the staff truly cares about the well-being of our children more

I have worked at Small Blessings for nine years and can honestly say that it is the best center for early childhood education. Fellow staff members are supportive and full of knowledge. I get to work closely with the families of the children under my care, allowing me to provide the best education for my students. Small Blessings is a center where your children will be supported as they seek to be curious, independent, and creative. more

Our daughter Katie has been at St. Richards now for two years and continues to excel. We recently had a conference with her teachers and they continue to give us positive feedback regarding Katie?s cognitive, social and interpersonal development. We owe many of these positive marks to the wonderful foundation she received while she attended Small Blessings. The Small Blessings staff, with their loving care and the use of the Creative Curriculum, provided an unbeatable combination in the development of our child. more

I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate some of the changes that have been made in the past couple of years. I really love the ""Watch Me Grow"" program and the ability it gives me to check on Bailey every now and then as well as look at activities going on in the classroom.. Also, I'm able to enjoy Mia's activities as well. Yesterday, for example, I was able to see part of Mia's ballet class. I also can't emphasize enough how much I appreciate the daily connect. For me at least, it's harder to leave them sometimes when they are so young. I remember when Mia was a baby during the day I would wonder how she was doing sometimes. I really love being able to see each day how Bailey is doing, how well she's eating, etc It's very reassuring to be able to see that Bailey is eating/sleeping well and also communicate easily with Mia and Bailey's teachers. I also want to note that when I do communicate with them via daily connect, Mia's and Bailey's teachers are very responsive. That means a lot and helps me have peace of mind. Most of my friends who have their children in daycare don't have either of those two benefits, in fact, I don't know of any others. I know it's easier sometimes to only discuss issues/concerns/etc., so I wanted to be sure I took a minute to give you this positive feedback and tell you how much I appreciate those two tools in particular. I know that other moms feel the same way! more

I chose Small Blessings for our family initially because a trusted friend recommended it for a variety of reasons. Since then I have also become very confident in the curriculum, teachers, and care that my child has been given and recommended Small Blessings to many of my friends and co-workers. They were also very flexible with us when we had an unexpected change in childcare needs. I am very happy with how the teachers and owners have worked with my child and me in each classroom. Through communication, collaboration, and taking action to meet specific needs/concerns, I have developed a trust with Small Blessings to care for my child. They continue to provide a source of comfort for me when I leave my child each day, which is incredibly valuable. more

My Husband and I chose Small Blessings for a variety of reasons. As new parents, it was difficult to accept the thought of someone other than us providing for our son?s care. On our first visit to Small Blessings we were overwhelmed with the thoughtful precautions the Daycare had placed on ensuring our son was in a safe environment. As the visit progressed, we became overwhelmingly comforted by the genuine love, care, respect and individual attention the teachers provided to each child. Our son has been with Small Blessings for almost a year and we?re amazed at the intellectual growth we?ve seen in our son. We?re also grateful for being informed of his developmental progress and we look forward to the future nourishment our son is sure to receive in the coming years. Small Blessings has truly earned their status as a Level 4 Path to Quality provider! more

Hi! Just wanted to let you know that I?m so happy to have access to the Watch Me Grow cameras. What a wonderful way to watch my sweethearts during the day. I have always loved reading their dailies to hear about their activities and I am even more impressed by the Teaching Strategies links each day to online observations and photos (yeah!). The Watch Me Grow website is that extra little bit that connects me to my kids, the activities shown on Teaching Strategies, and to the SBI staff. As a teacher myself, I know that the teachers must feel weird that ?big brother? is always watching, but after seeing the website in action, I truly feel even more confident about the staff that are working with my kids. I?ve always known that they were interacting, modeling, mentoring, and connecting with my kids, but to see them in action is amazing! more

Just dropping you a line to let you know how grateful we are for the Sycamores teachers. My son has had a wonderful experience with his teachers and has really blossomed over the last six months with them. They have blown us away with their positive attitudes, high energy, obvious respect for the children, and the love and care they show each day. I can honestly say that I couldn?t be any happier with the way they organize and run the classroom and their lessons. When I drop him off each day, I know that he will be physically well-cared for, but also nurtured and guided in loving and constructive ways. Thank you for hiring and supporting such professionals! We?re grateful to be a part of the Small Blessings family and the Sycamores classroom! more

We cannot say enough good things about Small Blessings! We have three children that attend Small Blessings full-time and it is so comforting to know that all three of our children are in loving and nurturing hands. We honestly feel that Small Blessings is an extension of our family unit. Our children genuinely enjoy going to school every morning and come home every night ready to share everything they've learned and tell us about all the fun they've had during the day. more

Our son has been at Small Blessings since he was an infant and receives the most wonderful and loving care from every teacher. They have always had very open communication regarding his development and how we can all work together to get the best possible outcomes. It gives us a great feeling to know that we don?t have to worry about him while we are at work. They care for him as if he was their own child. more

My son is doing so well in kindergarten. Academically, the work is actually too easy for him, as they are just working on recognizing letters and numbers, and he already knows all of those. But, he is learning to play the violin, and working on an independent project (also pretty easy for him). He was so well-prepared for kindergarten. He would not have gotten there without the wonderful team at SB more

We have our children at this daycare and the staff are always friendly and act in a positive manner toward our children. I would highly recommend this daycare not only for the attitude of the staff but the learning activities. My children have learned more over the summer there than at any other daycare they have attended. more

We placed both of our daughters at Small Blessings. Our oldest is now ending her year in kindergarten. We have seen and experienced that Small Blessings provides a great balance of developmentally appropriate learning activities and structured social interaction. The staff members understand that children learn through play and life experiences. We highly recommend Small Blessings for your child/children. more
