i brought my 15 year old daughter in for her birthday to get her nose pierced as a present. we had to wait for almost two hours and they took her back and barley said a word to us...

Skinstation is the best tattoo shop around!! I have had tattoos done by Sting and Terry. The work they do has always been great. This shop is always super clean and the people here are all very nice and easy going. more

Friendly, Professional, and Quality Ink 8/1/2011

Got my first tat done this afternoon by Skinsations. It was my first tattoo so I was so nervous and I asked a lot of questions. Holly (the owner's wife) answered all my questions patiently and she kept telling me I would be fine. They are so professional. They made sure my tat is at the right size and position as I wanted. Awesome work and great experience. I'm so happy ;D When you are getting a tattoo, quality and safety come first. This place is very clean and everyone is friendly which makes you feel very comfortable. more

I Loved Loved Loved It! 8/1/2011

I loved loved loved this place. My mom, dad, and myself all went to get matching tattoos & they were really awesome. I totally forgot her name but she was really creative, I gave her what I wanted she sketched it up and added more to it, which made it ten times better. She switched up my dad's who still had similarities to mine. Overall, she was just great. The other artists were really cool as well, they kept conversed with us as we waited and just overall a really well ran place. They all seem amazing and my family and myself were extremely please with our tattoo. I gladly referred them to more than a few people already and i will be going back soon! more

Getting a tattoo here is such an amazing experience. The artists are without a doubt some of the most talented individuals you could ever come across. Watching my brother getting his tattoo from start to finish was unbelievable. I was amazed at how detailed and clean everything turned out. All of the artists have passion, heart, and personality! more

Sting and Terry rock 2/25/2011

Terry designed a beautiful custom tat for me several months ago- it's very meaningful to me and he took great care to listen to the story behind the 'idea' before he started drawing it. It came out beautifully, and I proudly show it off -and always tell everyone who did it for me. I'm considering building on it soon, and there's no way I'd want anyone other than Terry (except Sting) to touch it! These guys are awesome, and the quality of their work is reflected in the fact that they're always busy whenever I stop in! more

best tatts I ve recieved 11/5/2010

I have had 7 tatts from the various artist at skinsations I am very pleased with the work provided to me. These guys know me by name when I walk in they are always friendly and ask about my family and how we are all doing even out in public they speak with a family friendly attitude. It never ceases to amaze me that our competition feels that they have to criticize other shops and artists to make themselves look better. Let your work speak for itself. Sad when you have to get your friends to post bogus crap. We here at Skinsations have been in the Monroe area for over 16 years and have 24+ years of experience in the tattooing and piercing business. We invite the public to come in and judge for yourself. Check out our clean facilities, experienced staff and make your decision then. Not by what some people say on an internet site to try and make their shops look better. We are not into that kind of game. Still not satisfied, call Union County Environmental Health Department and ask for our Rating. Thanks so much for your time. Sting more

i brought my 15 year old daughter in for her birthday to get her nose pierced as a present. we had to wait for almost two hours and they took her back and barley said a word to us. they used a gun to pierce her nose wich smashed the jewlry on so tight she was cryin in pain for about two days before we had a piercer at another shop remove it for her more

Amazing Tattoos 10/6/2009

i've gotten about 5 tattoos there now... i live in charleston, and just found a tattoo parlor down here that i like, i used 2 drive 4 hrs just to get a tattoo from there. Terry's done most of my tattoos, and they're amazing, beautiful, and so realistic. Sting has done one, and there's a small mistake on it, that i wish he'd fixed, but he didn't but all in all, i'm happy with the work i've gotten done. As for the piercer that made a comment on here, I know of shops in Monroe, that i'll never step foot in again, or even near. i have 2 messed up tattoos due to other shops. Pros: Friendly service, amazing tattoo artists... etc... Cons: cash only, long drive more

Worst Piercers ever. 9/8/2008

Well i just got the right side of my lip pierced friday and i already had the left side done. Sting, the piercer, used a 14 gauge instead of a 16 which is what my other one is. it hurt like a hell! he was very rough. i asked him why he did it with a 14. he said because he didnt have any 16's well if he didnt have any why the hell did you not tell me and i would have went some where else. But i kept my mouth shut and left. Well when i got home i realized it was higher than the other. Needless to say i was pretty p*ssed and i took it out saturday. Now im going to have to waste 40 more dollars to get it re done. If i were you i wouldnt get within 100 ft of this place. Pros: nice couches Cons: bad service and grouchy people more
