I chose this florist based on their website. They advertise that they are family owned and operated, that they offer only the freshest flowers, customer's are important to them and their professional staff are dedicated to making your experience a pleasant one. MY EXPERIENCE WAS FAR FROM PLEASANT. I ordered an arrangement to be sent to a funeral on behalf of my family. I was embarrassed by the arrangement that was sent. SOME OF THE FLOWERS WERE DEAD!!!! They were to have sent beautiful vibrant yellow and purple flowers and instead sent yellow mixed with a few dead brown flowers. When I called the very next business day to notify the florist of my experience, the OWNER of the shop was very abrasive, short, argumentative and rude. He told me that my I was wrong. This store clearly does not believe in the theory that the customer is always right. He was yelling at me. He argued that if the flowers died between the time that he created the arrangement and the time they were delivered, he apologizes but he would not be willing to refund me my money. I spent $154.00 on the arrangement. He said he spent $75.00 on creating the arrangement for me and he would only be willing to give me back the delivery fee of $20.00. To add insult to injury, he was yelling at me and eventually hung up on me. I would have expected him to at least refund me the profit he made off my order. If he only spent $75 on creating the disastrous arrangement, he could have at least offered to refund me the difference. $20 is insulting. Not to mention that the flowers were for a funeral, you would think he would have been sensitive to a customer going through a loss. Obviously, customer's are not important to them, they just falsely advertise that. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST, HE DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS! PLEASE DISCOURAGE ANYONE AND EVERYONE FROM DOING BUSINESS WITH SIMPSON'S FLORIST!!
Cons: Awful customer service, poor flower quality.
